We’re Jimmy & Kristina the creative couple behind The House of Amaretto.
Based between the Gold Coast and Bali, We specialise in fashion, Swimwear, Lifestyle and product photography for brands that want more than just nice images. We believe great visuals should feel intentional, aligned and genuinely reflect who you are as a brand.
With nearly a decase of experince we created The House of Amaretto to support brands looking for thoughtful creative direction, polished editoral content and a team that truly cares about the end result.

When we’re not on location ourselves, we work with a handpicked local team who represent us and uphold the same high standards of quality, creativity and attention to detail.

We also care deeply about Bali’s street dogs. Through The Lucky Fund, A portion of every booking goes toward feeding, medical care and shelter for dogs in need.

Meet KristinaOriginally from Sydney and now based on the Gold Coast, Kristina is the art director and co-founder of The House of Amaretto.
With a background in fashion photography, lifestyle storytelling, and brand direction, Kristina leads the creative vision behind every project. From mood boards and visual concepts to on-set direction, styling, and execution, she ensures each shoot feels intentional, elevated, and aligned with the brand’s identity.
On set, Kristina oversees creative direction, guiding models, refining details, and shaping the overall look and feel of each campaign. She also leads behind-the-scenes content, UGC, and reels, capturing movement, emotion, and story beyond still imagery.
Her approach blends strong visual storytelling with thoughtful detail, creating content that feels real, considered, and designed to connect meaningfully with your audience.

Meet JimmyBorn and raised on the Gold Coast, Jimmy is the lead photographer and co-founder of The House of Amaretto.
With extensive experience across fashion, swimwear, and lifestyle photography, Jimmy leads the visual execution and creative direction behind every shoot. His approach blends editorial storytelling with natural, confident direction, ensuring talent feels comfortable and brands feel fully represented.
Now working between the Gold Coast and Bali, Jimmy draws inspiration from both locations, combining coastal minimalism with tropical warmth to create imagery that feels fresh, intentional, and distinctly Amaretto.
Jimmy believes powerful photography starts with connection. He takes the time to understand each brand’s vision, goals, and identity, shaping campaigns and content that feel authentic, emotive, and aligned.
On set, he brings calm confidence and positive energy, guiding talent with ease while maintaining a focused, collaborative environment. His work is driven by light, movement, and story, creating visuals that don’t just look good, but resonate.
Whether directing a campaign in Bali, a lifestyle shoot on the Gold Coast, or an international concept abroad, Jimmy’s passion for visual storytelling continues to shape the creative foundation of The House of Amaretto.

Our Creative Bali team
We work with a trusted, Bali‑based photographer and established creative team whose work aligns seamlessly with The House of Amaretto’s aesthetic and creative direction.
With a team on the ground, we’re able to manage every element of a Bali shoot from location scouting and professional model selection through to photography, videography, styling, hair & makeup, and behind‑the‑scenes content without the need for constant travel.
If products are already made or located in Bali, we can also organise local drop‑off or collection, removing the need for shipping or additional handling on the client side.
All Bali shoots are creatively led by The House of Amaretto and executed locally, ensuring every project feels cohesive, intentional, and effortlessly on brand. Clients don’t need to coordinate suppliers, logistics, or transport everything is taken care of, seamlessly.

Our Creative Network
Alongside Jimmy and Kristina, The House of Amaretto works with a trusted network of photographers, filmmakers, and creatives who align with our vision and standards.
We work with an experienced Bali-based photographer and are gradually expanding our creative team to support campaigns across Bali, Australia, and internationally.
As the brand grows, we’re selectively adding specialist creatives, including 35mm film photography and Super 8 video, as well as support across PR, social media, and content management, to ensure every project is delivered with consistency, care, and strong creative direction.
This considered approach allows us to scale thoughtfully while maintaining the quality, attention to detail, and creative integrity The House of Amaretto is known for.

We like to have at least 2 months before your shoot to plan everything properly moodboarding, sourcing models, and finding the perfect location for your brand.
That said, we can sometimes work earlier or later depending on your needs.
What if I know I want a shoot in the future?
Our calendar is filling up fast! If you know you’ll need a shoot in the next 6 months and are sure you want to work with us, the best way to secure your spot is with a 10% deposit.Don’t worry if your production plans change, we can always move your shoot date.

To secure your shoot date, we just ask for a 10% non-refundable deposit this locks in your spot and gets the planning started.
The remaining balance is due 7 days before your shoot, but we know flexibility matters so we can offer 4 easy payment instalments to make things simple and stress-free.
Once your deposit is in, your shoot is officially booked and we can start planning all the fun details.
If a payment ever slips through the cracks, don’t stress we’ll send a quick reminder so everything stays on schedule.

Once your date is confirmed and the deposit is secured, we’ll curate a selection of agency and freelance models as well as locations that perfectly align with your brief.
We’ll guide you through these options, ensuring every choice reflects your brand’s vision and the look and feel we’re aiming to achieve for your shoot.

We know licensing can feel like a scary topic, but don’t worry we’ll make it easy!
All of our packages include social media and website usage, so you can post your images and videos online and show off your brand without a hitch.
If you want to use your content for other things like paid ads, email campaigns, print materials, or even billboards and posters just let us know.
We can sort out the right license so everything’s fully covered.
Exclusive Rights: Want your content to be all yours? We can set that up with a tailored license fee.
Not sure if something’s covered? No stress! Just communicate your needs with us, and we’ll make sure the license fits perfectly for your images and videos.
Licensing is really just a way to protect both you and us, and by talking through it upfront, we can make sure your content is used safely and exactly how you want it.

We know life happens and sometimes the weather doesn’t cooperate! If your shoot needs to be moved for any reason, we’re happy to reschedule.
We’ll work with you to find a new date that fits your timeline, and your deposit will transfer to the new date.

On shoot day, we’ve got everything covered so you can relax and enjoy the fun part: watching your vision come to life!
We’ll guide you through styling, shooting, and any posing or product setups, keeping it easy, creative, and stress-free.
If anything unexpected pops up like tricky weather, location hiccups, or last-minute changes don’t worry!
We’ll adapt on the spot to make sure your shoot still looks amazing.

The Lucky Fund was born from a story close to our hearts. When we rescued Lucky, a tiny puppy abandoned in a rice field and fighting for his life, we spent over $2,000 on his medical care out of our own pockets.
What broke our hearts even more was realising how often this happens people come to Bali, adopt or play with a cute puppy, and when it’s time to leave, they abandon them on a dirt road. Lucky lived through that, and seeing it firsthand showed us how many dogs suffer every day.
After living in Bali and witnessing this reality, we couldn’t turn away.
The Lucky Fund is our way of making a difference. A portion of every booking goes directly toward feeding, providing medical care, and sheltering street dogs. It’s the only way we could help while supporting the incredible people who dedicate their lives to these animals.
